Refund Policy

We want the Service to deliver real value from day one. This policy explains when refunds are issued and how to request them.

1. 7-day money-back on first paid month

For your first paid subscription month on any tier (Mini, Standard, Team), you can request a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge, for any reason. Email billing@mingles.ai from the email on your account.

This applies once per account. Repeated upgrade/downgrade cycles do not reset the window.

2. Ongoing subscription cancellations

You may cancel at any time in the Console. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan remains active until the end of the current period. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for unused days of a current period, with the exception of cases listed below.

3. Pro-rated refunds we do issue

We will refund the unused portion of the current period when:

  • We discontinue all models you primarily relied on, with less than 14 days’ notice.
  • A documented platform incident reduced your usable capacity by more than 50% of the period and was not resolved within 72 hours.
  • A duplicate or accidental charge occurred (e.g. double-billing from a failed and re-attempted invoice).
  • You can demonstrate a billing error on our side.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe or, for crypto, as USDT/USDC equivalent at the exchange rate at the time of the original payment (network fees deducted).

4. Prepaid pay-as-you-go balance

Prepaid top-ups via Stripe are refundable to the original card for 30 days from purchase, minus any usage. Crypto top-ups (USDT/USDC) are refundable in the same currency for 30 days, minus usage and network fees.

After 30 days, prepaid balances remain usable but are non-refundable.

If your account is closed by you with an unused balance below USD 5, the balance is forfeited. Balances above USD 5 will be refunded to the original payment method within 30 days of closure.

5. Free tier

The Free tier carries no charges and is not eligible for refunds.

6. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank without first contacting billing@mingles.ai, we may suspend your account while the dispute is investigated to prevent abuse. Where the dispute is resolved in our favor, the related account may remain suspended.

7. How to request a refund

  1. Email billing@mingles.ai from the email on your account.
  2. Include the invoice number or transaction date.
  3. Briefly describe the reason (no need for justification within the 7-day window for subscriptions).

We respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days.
