Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the Terms of Service. By using the Mingo Service, you agree not to use it for any of the following.

1. Illegal content and activity

You may not use the Service to generate, distribute, or facilitate:

  • Content depicting child sexual abuse (CSAM) or sexual content involving minors.
  • Content that incites, plans, or assists imminent violence or terrorism.
  • Content that promotes, plans, or assists illegal acts under applicable law.
  • Distribution of malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code.
  • Unauthorized access to systems or data (hacking-as-a-service).
  • Generation of fraudulent identity documents, currency, or signatures.

2. Harm to individuals

You may not use the Service to:

  • Generate content that harasses, threatens, or doxxes specific individuals.
  • Create non-consensual intimate imagery (including deepfakes).
  • Impersonate real persons for the purpose of fraud or defamation.
  • Generate content that incites self-harm or pro-suicide content directed at users.

3. Misinformation and high-stakes decisions

The Service uses open-weight language models that can produce inaccurate or biased outputs. You may not present model outputs as professional advice in domains where errors cause significant harm — including medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, or critical infrastructure decisions — without qualified human review and clear disclosure to end users.

You may not use the Service to generate political disinformation or operate networks of fake accounts.

4. Privacy and data protection

You may not:

  • Process special-category personal data (health, biometric, sexual orientation, religion, political views) without a lawful basis and our prior approval.
  • Submit personal data on behalf of others without their consent.
  • Attempt to re-identify de-identified data.

5. Adult content

Explicit sexual content involving consenting adults is permitted only for use cases that meet the strictest of:

  • the laws of your jurisdiction and of the end user’s jurisdiction,
  • age-verification of all end users,
  • clear, prominent labeling.

The Service is not intended as a primary adult-content platform. We may rate-limit or block traffic patterns that indicate primary use for such content.

6. Spam and abuse of the API

You may not:

  • Use the Service to send bulk unsolicited messages (email, SMS, social posts) at scale.
  • Resell raw API access without operating a meaningfully different product on top.
  • Operate scrapers, content farms, or SEO-spam pipelines.
  • Generate fake reviews, fake social-proof content, or fake engagement.
  • Run benchmark suites or load tests that exceed your plan’s rate limits without prior written approval.

7. Circumvention

You may not:

  • Operate multiple accounts to exceed Free-tier quotas (one Free account per person/organization).
  • Share API keys across organizations to evade Team-plan seat counts.
  • Use VPNs, proxies, or other means to circumvent geo-restrictions, captchas, or fraud checks.
  • Reverse-engineer rate limits or tampering with token-counting on our side.

8. Crypto-payment specific

For USDT/USDC crypto payments:

  • You may not use funds known to originate from sanctioned wallets or mixers used for sanctions evasion.
  • You may not use the Service to facilitate money laundering or sanctions evasion.

We may use blockchain analytics to flag suspicious deposits and pause crediting pending review.

9. Reporting violations

If you become aware of abuse or a policy violation involving the Service, report it to:

We commit to acknowledging serious reports within 24 hours.

10. Enforcement

Violations may result in:

  • Warning and education.
  • Temporary suspension and request to remediate.
  • Termination of account and forfeiture of unused prepaid balance.
  • Reporting to law enforcement where required.

We reserve discretion in enforcement, including immediate action for severe violations.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP. Material changes will be announced by email and posted at the top of this page.
